Lead Java Developer / Java Tech Lead

Aston is an accredited outsourcing IT company (since 2007, 2500+ specialists). The client project is a fast-growing IT company building digital solutions for major financial organizations: fintech products, big data, and business process digitalization. Responsibilities: - Participate in architecture design: create prototypes, reference implementations, and set code standards - Work with databases: design schemas, write complex queries, optimize performance under high load - Lead and control quality - Distribute sprint tasks considering workload - Form the technical backlog

Experience as Java Developer 3+ years Experience managing a development team (4+ people) as Tech Lead 1+ year Fintech experience Experience running architecture sessions and making engineering decisions under time constraints Excellent understanding of Spring Framework / Spring Boot Knowledge of patterns and anti-patterns, distributed systems patterns Knowledge of logging and monitoring Expert SQL writing Understanding of multithreading and asynchronous programming Experience refactoring monolithic or legacy applications Ability to read others' code and quickly dive into production services
