Lead Identity Designer
2GIS is looking for a Lead Identity Designer to develop and maintain the visual language of the brand, working on style, sub-brands, and ad campaigns. Requires 3+ years in branding, systemic thinking, and negotiation skills.
The Brand Unit is responsible for developing the visual language of 2GIS. We work with style, identity of sub-brands and new products, federal advertising campaigns and special projects — everything that later scales to product, marketing and communications. We are looking for a designer who will help develop and bring the brand system of 2GIS to integrity: deeply understand what already exists, find gaps and contradictions in the rules, and over time become the owner of style standards for the whole company. Responsibilities: - Deeply understand the existing style of 2GIS and the work on redesign: principles, elements, application rules, examples. - Review and improve current solutions: identify gaps and inconsistencies, clarify principles and assemble a holistic identity system (guidelines, examples, rules). - Over time become the point of expertise on style for product and communication teams: guide, explain, show by examples, help maintain a unified visual language. - Stop decisions that begin to break consistency, and propose alternatives within the system.
Experience in branding and identity from 3 years with concrete results. Systemic thinking: able not only to create, but also to structure, describe and pass on to others (guides, principles, examples). Ability to negotiate: explain, argue and guide teams through changes. Independence, responsibility and curiosity. Nice to have: experience working with large product brands. Please attach a portfolio to your application — it is important for us to see your projects in action with concrete results and your role in them.
At 2GIS: white salary, official employment and voluntary medical insurance (DMS). Work can be in the office or remotely, as convenient. If you want to work in a hybrid format, we have offices in Moscow, Saint Petersburg, two cool offices in Novosibirsk. Remotely — from any city in Russia. In the team we have built a clear and transparent system of growth for designers and their salaries. Every week we have regular workshops and practices. In short, we are doing well.
