11 bit studios is looking for an experienced Game Director to lead the development of an unannounced project. This role involves full ownership of the game vision, from early concept to release, ensuring a cohesive, high-quality player experience aligned with both creative and business goals. You will work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to shape gameplay, systems, and overall direction. Responsibilities: • Define and own the game vision and direction from concept to release • Translate creative vision into gameplay systems and player experience • Align with leadership on creative and production goals • Lead ideation, prototyping, and feature development processes • Collaborate with production on budgets, schedules, and progress tracking • Guide cross-functional teams and resolve creative or technical challenges • Provide feedback, mentoring, and quality control across the project • Monitor market trends and adapt production strategies accordingly
Required Skills: • 7+ years of experience in design, art, or creative direction • Experience as Game Director, Creative Director, Design Lead/Director, or similar • Experience leading teams of 20+ developers • Experience shipping games using Unreal Engine • Strong understanding of game design and production processes • Analytical mindset and ability to work with data • Fluent Polish and English (B2+) • Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills • Deep understanding of gamedev market and trends Nice to Have: • Hands-on experience in game design • Experience with similar narrative-driven or meaningful games • Strong background in prototyping and iteration processes
