Java Developer (Senior)

Senior Java Developer at Mish product lab for a federal HR platform (public job portal + internal document/HR processes). Rate 1300–1400 RUB/hour, remote, full-time, 6-month contract with possible extension.

Project: federal-level HR platform: public job-portal contour and closed internal contour for document flow and HR processes. Responsibilities: - Decompose monolith and develop new microservices. - Build fault-tolerant integrations: Kafka, idempotency, Transactional Outbox, retry, DLQ. - Work on distributed systems: locks, schedulers, caching, graceful degradation. - Optimize performance: SQL, indexes, eliminate N+1, JVM profiling. - Orchestrate business processes (Netflix Conductor / Camunda).

Commercial Java development experience 5+ years. Java, Spring Boot, Apache Kafka. PostgreSQL: query optimization, indexes, transactions. Experience designing high-load fault-tolerant systems. Docker / Kubernetes. Higher education. Nice to have: - Legacy monolith migration to microservices. - Camunda / Netflix Conductor. - Reliability patterns: Saga, Circuit Breaker, idempotency. - Work with personal data, JWT/OAuth2.

Contract type: civil-law contract / individual entrepreneur (sole proprietor). Duration: 6 months with possible extension. Employment: full-time. Work format: remote, with one office visit possible during onboarding. Rate: 1300–1400 RUB/hour. Location: Moscow or Saint Petersburg.
