Job Details

Intern position in Server Equipment Operations Team at Avito in Moscow. Responsibilities include preparing servers, replacing components, connecting servers, and assisting engineers. Requires technical/engineering student, basic computer/network understanding, and English for technical documentation.

Prepare servers for installation: unpacking, labeling, basic check; Perform replacement of disks, memory, and other components; Connect servers to the data transmission network; Check equipment status according to checklists; Participate in equipment installation in racks; Record completed work; Assist engineers in diagnosing malfunctions.

Studying in college or university in a technical or engineering field; Ready to work 35-40 hours per week in a mobile and office format (all data centers are within the Moscow Ring Road); Have a basic understanding of how a computer and network work; Have minimal experience with Linux or are ready to learn it; Able to work according to instructions; Accurate and attentive when working with equipment; Ready for physical work (minor installation/dismantling of equipment); Know English at the level of reading technical documentation.
