We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with over 5 years of experience, based in the EU, for a Fintech project. The end client is a German bank, so experience in financial technology is mandatory. Key Responsibilities: • Deployment and configuration of Kubernetes clusters • Building infrastructure in AWS for backend services • Developing and implementing Terraform modules from scratch • Preparing infrastructure for event-driven systems (including Kafka/Redpanda) • Collaborating with the backend team (Go developers) on deployment and infrastructure matters • Active participation in infrastructure-level architectural discussions as part of a dedicated team

Mandatory Requirements: • Practical experience with AWS (production environment) • Strong Kubernetes knowledge: cluster deployment and configuration, production operation experience • Terraform experience: • developing modules from scratch • infrastructure as code description • Understanding of cloud-native architecture principles • Experience working in distributed teams • English language proficiency at B2-C1 level • Must be based in the EU Desirable Requirements: • Experience with event-driven architectures • Knowledge of Kafka or Redpanda • Understanding of requirements for high-load systems and strict data requirements • Experience in fintech, banking, or other regulated domains is a plus
