Head of YouTube Direction
SmirnovTech is looking for a Head of YouTube Direction to manage their YouTube channels. The role involves strategic content planning, scriptwriting, production oversight, and performance analysis to drive targeted leads. Full-time, remote position with a salary up to 350,000 ₽ per month, plus bonuses based on KPIs.
SmirnovTech is an ecosystem of products for business owners. Our tools help entrepreneurs align personal financial goals with business metrics, identify areas where the company is losing money, and implement a management cycle to reduce reliance on endless calls and chats. We have two YouTube channels for owners with an annual turnover of over 50 million rubles. We release videos about our tools that solve business problems, share our experience, and conduct interviews with top Russian entrepreneurs and self-made individuals. We are looking for a producer (manager) for our YouTube channels with relevant experience in B2B and consulting niches. This specialist should understand how to systematically generate targeted leads through YouTube. You should be able to select a topic and package it so that YouTube scales its reach to the right audience. You understand why one video grows and another doesn't. You know how to influence CTR, watch rate, and views in the first 30 seconds. You can analyze metrics and make decisions based on them.
What needs to be done: 0. Immerse yourself in our product and target audience portraits. 1. Propose video topics aligned with our product and goals, considering SEO requirements: title, description, tags, and hashtags for recommendations. 2. Develop a content plan and release videos on schedule. 3. Write scripts (initially yourself, then with scriptwriters you hire), deeply understanding our product. The three-act structure should be familiar to you. 4. Oversee editing: prepare technical specifications, work with editors. Be meticulous and detailed in this process. 5. Creatively package videos to make them engaging and maximize YouTube's reach. Work with a designer to create covers that systematically increase CTR. 6. Organize shootings. 7. Analyze content performance and propose data-driven hypotheses, not just intuition. Experience with customer development and JTBD will be a plus. It's important that video topics arise not only from "viewing experience" but also from real customer pain points and context. Who is definitely not a fit: A person who only knows how to release content. A creative who loves generating ideas but doesn't look at metrics. A production organizer who can push deadlines but cannot explain why a video didn't get the expected views. A person who waits for detailed instructions. We need a specialist who sees problems, proposes solutions, and brings them to fruition.
We work remotely. Employment: full-time. Combining with other jobs is not prohibited, as long as our work is done on time, with quality, and effectively. We pay up to 350,000 ₽ per month, including bonuses for month, quarter, and year. The bonus amount depends on meeting KPIs for: CTR, conversion to a targeted lead, average views per video, ROMI, retention in the first 30 seconds, and watch rate.
