Game Designer
Senior/Expert Game Designer with 5+ years of experience in mobile games, focusing on hyper-casual and hybrid-casual genres. Remote role with a focus on balancing, documentation, and data-driven decision-making. Fluent English required.
Transform vision into concise and well thought through documentation; Be responsible for execution with the teams; Be balancing expert: work closely with the data and know how to interpret it to particular balance decisions; Be expert in modern hyper casual / hybrid casual games and top of the market systems / features / solutions; Expert in how systems translate between free to play and premium distribution. What are the essentials of both approaches. General in-depth understanding of how free to play model work (both ads and in-app purchases).
5+ years of experience in Game Design for mobile apps/games; Responsible and transparent team player that is comfortable working in a small team where there is no such thing as “this is not my business” attitude; Led successful free to play games from concept to global launch as solo designer in the team; Probably worked in one of the hyper casual studios that successfully went through hybrid casual transformation; Structured, data-driven approach to decision-making; Advanced English communication skills for day-to-day collaboration
High level of ownership and direct impact on product growth; Multiple products in different genres with proven market fit but few systems: a lot of design opportunity; Cross platform games distribution; Fast and lean environment, flat structure without layers of management with deep industrial team; Small motivated teams.
