DevOps Engineer

DevOps Engineer for a product company in Moscow, Russia. Hybrid work. 4+ years of experience, infrastructure from scratch, Docker Swarm, Kubernetes, CI/CD, monitoring.

Design and deploy product infrastructure from scratch. Set up CI/CD pipelines for frontend and backend. Set up and maintain Docker Swarm cluster and deployment processes. Design and migrate to Kubernetes after relocation. Administer Percona XtraDB Cluster: fault tolerance, backups, recovery. Set up monitoring, alerting, and logging. Work with development teams and participate in technical negotiations with contractors.

Commercial experience in DevOps or SRE from 4 years. Real experience in designing and building infrastructure from scratch. Experience operating Docker Swarm in production. Confident knowledge and production experience with Kubernetes. Experience setting up GitLab CI/CD, runners, and pipelines for frontend and backend. Understanding of network model and proxying through Nginx. Experience operating Percona XtraDB Cluster / Galera in production: quorum and split-brain, SST/IST, bootstrap after failure, backups via Percona XtraBackup. Experience with Docker, PostgreSQL, Redis, and S3-compatible storage. Experience setting up Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and Zabbix. Willingness to participate in architectural decisions, work with development teams, and technical negotiations with contractors.
