Developer (Intern) in Delivery Robot Pipeline Service

Yandex is hiring an intern developer for the delivery robot pipeline service. Work on C++ and Python, configure security, and support production. Remote, hybrid, or office.

Development of software for robots: participate in developing system software for robots in C++ and Python. Reassemble system modules, update libraries, configure the runtime environment, and ensure stability and performance of software. Security and configurations: configure the cryptographic protection system, describe how to safely update firmware and configurations, build the kernel and describe hardware, support factory production, and work with version control tools and code delivery pipelines.

Worked with Linux at the user level. Know console commands, understand the file system, processes, and network settings. Ready to work in the command line as the main environment. Have development experience in C++ and Python (study projects, hackathons, research work, or commercial experience). Understand the basics of compilation, project building, and working with dependencies. Interested in robotics. Interested in working with physical devices and hardware. Understand how embedded software works and what limitations working with real equipment imposes. Have systems thinking. Able to understand complex technical systems. Ready to dive into low-level details. Independent in finding information. Attentive to details.
