Database Administrator

Responsibilities: Administer MS SQL and PostgreSQL databases; participate in database architecture design and maintenance; support backup and recovery processes; proactively detect and resolve database issues; perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and incident resolution; participate in migration projects from MS SQL to PostgreSQL; keep documentation up to date; interact with administrators, developers, BI specialists, and other cross-functional team members.

Experience as DBA for 3+ years; specialization in administering MS SQL (2016-2022) and PostgreSQL (13-16) database servers; knowledge of SQL and SQL query optimization; understanding of high-loaded database architecture principles and experience building such; experience with AirFlow and Git is a plus; analytical mindset and structured working methods; strong communication skills, ability to constructively justify one's point of view and work with feedback; spoken and written English at Pre-intermediate level.
