Senior Data Scientist position at TOO Capital Network in Astana. Salary from 2,000,000 KZT net. Responsibilities include data analysis, ML model development, and Generative AI.

Responsibilities: • Collection, cleaning, and analysis of large volumes of data from various sources • Building and validating statistical models, conducting A/B tests and experiments • Development of machine learning models (classification, regression, clustering, recommendation systems, time series) • Working with Generative AI: using LLMs for text analysis, feature generation, summarization, and agentic solutions • Creating dashboards and visualizations for presenting results to stakeholders • Translating business tasks into data science project formulations and vice versa • MLOps: preparing models for production (in collaboration with engineers), monitoring model quality, drift detection

Requirements: • 3+ years of commercial experience in Data Science / Machine Learning (Senior level) • Deep knowledge of mathematics and statistics: probability theory, linear algebra, mathematical statistics, hypothesis testing, Bayesian methods • Expert-level Python: pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, SciPy, Matplotlib/Seaborn, Jupyter • Experience with machine learning: XGBoost, LightGBM, CatBoost, PyTorch or TensorFlow/Keras • Generative AI and LLMs (LangChain, LlamaIndex, prompt engineering, RAG, fine-tuning) • Advanced SQL (complex queries, optimization, window functions) • Data visualization experience: Tableau, Power BI, Grafana, Streamlit or Dash • Understanding of MLOps: Docker, MLflow, Airflow, model monitoring, A/B testing in production • Experience with big data: Spark, Hadoop or cloud tools (AWS SageMaker, Yandex DataSphere, Google Vertex AI, etc.) • Ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms to the business • Systems thinking and ability to take leadership of projects from idea to result • English language at B2+ level (reading technical documentation and scientific articles)
