Data Scientist / ML Engineer

Junior Data Scientist / ML Engineer at IBS. Remote. Work on NLP, generative AI assistants, LLM pipelines (SFT/LoRA, RLHF), RAG, CI/CD for ML. Experience from 1 year required.

Research and implementation of modern approaches for a wide range of NLP tasks Participation in the full development cycle: from prototyping to industrial deployment of the final solution Development of natural language processing services (classification, summarization, NER, RAG, etc.) Participation in the creation of AI assistants based on generative models (SFT/LoRA, RLHF) — BERT, Qwen, etc. Building pipelines for data preparation and LLM training Organizing monitoring of quality and performance of LLMs in production Designing and supporting CI/CD pipelines for ML projects (Git, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins and similar) Containerization and orchestration of services (Docker, Kubernetes)

Higher education: mathematical, IT, technical Similar work experience from 1 year Good knowledge of Python and main data analysis libraries Basic skills in classical ML (EDA, preprocessing, model training) Experience with modern transformer neural networks (GPT, BERT and their modifications) Experience implementing RAG Confident proficiency in PyTorch or TensorFlow for fine-tuning LLMs
