CTO / Java Backend Developer

CTO/Java Backend Developer for a high-load financial service with banking and processing integrations. Full-time, remote. Focus on transaction logic, PostgreSQL, and Event-Driven architecture for iGaming/betting projects.

Responsibilities: - Design and develop backend services in Java. - Implement transactional and financial logic (calculations, integrations). - Build REST/gRPC APIs and Event-Driven architecture (Kafka / RabbitMQ). - Work with PostgreSQL: transactions, isolation levels, locks, and optimization of complex queries. - Ensure reliability of distributed systems: idempotency, error handling, concurrency control. - Set up Observability (logs, metrics, tracing) and handle production incidents.

- 4+ years of commercial backend development with Java (Core, Spring Boot / Spring Framework). - Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems. - Strong SQL and deep understanding of PostgreSQL (transactions, isolation levels, locking, performance tuning for Java and DB). - Practical experience in designing REST/gRPC APIs and working with message brokers (Kafka / RabbitMQ). - Understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and Observability tools. - Experience in FinTech / Banking / Payments / Ledger is a big advantage.
