Cost Estimation Engineer

Cost Estimation Engineer for a large stable federal company, preparing estimates, analyzing project documentation, and coordinating with contractors. Hybrid work.

Responsibilities: - Preparation of estimate documentation primarily in Excel using commercial rates, as well as in specialized estimating software. - Analysis of project and as-built documentation, reading drawings, calculating work volumes for various project sections. - Preparing estimates for design and survey works. - Preparation and execution of contracts for design and construction works. - Monitoring market prices for materials and works, requesting and analyzing commercial proposals from contractors, checking cost justification. - Coordination of estimate documentation with contracting organizations. - Maintaining financial and technical documentation for projects: cumulative statements, cost registries, payment plans. - Interaction with internal departments and participants of construction projects.

Requirements: - Higher specialized education in construction. - Experience in estimating on the customer or general contractor side. - Experience working directly on construction sites is a plus. - Understanding of construction process technologies, including general construction, engineering, and finishing works. - Skills in reading project documentation and calculating work volumes from drawings. - Knowledge of principles of preparing and agreeing construction contracts, understanding of basic legal aspects of construction activities. - Proficient in MS Excel and other MS Office programs. - Experience with PC "GRAND-Smeta" or similar programs. - Skills with AutoCAD or similar systems for analyzing project documentation and calculating volumes.
