Parity Technologies builds core infrastructure behind blockchain. Its remote-first global team develops open-source software including Polkadot, the Polkadot SDK, and Kusama. As a Core Developer in the Node function, you will build and maintain software that powers network communication, block production, and syncing across the Polkadot network. Responsibilities: - Design and implement core node infrastructure that powers the Polkadot network and teams building applications on it - Collaborate with design and engineering teams and see direct impact of your work - Work on networking, syncing, and tooling that keep the network fast, reliable, and resilient

Skills: - Work autonomously and solve problems independently - Collaborate with others in an open-source culture, work well with peer review as reviewer and reviewee - Possess a good understanding of system design and ability to work with complex systems - Take ownership of work and be responsible for outcomes - Have good communication skills and can present work in plain English in blog posts or conferences
