Cellular Network Security Programmer
Seeking an expert in cellular network security protocols for advanced research. Responsibilities include vulnerability research, security analysis, tool development, and reverse engineering. Requires deep understanding of GSM/UMTS/LTE/5G, Python or C/C++, Linux, and network administration.
We are engaged in cutting-edge research in the field of telecommunications network security. We are looking for an expert who understands how cellular communication protocols work from the inside and knows how to find "white spots" in them. Responsibilities: - Researching vulnerabilities in 2G/3G/4G/5G protocols. - Analyzing the security of base stations and core network equipment. - Developing tools for traffic analysis and vulnerability exploitation. - Reverse engineering firmware of subscriber devices (modems).
Deep understanding of GSM/UMTS/LTE/5G architecture. Proficient in Python or C/C++. Experience with one of the tools: Wireshark (PCAP analysis), Osmocom, srsRAN, OpenAirInterface. Proficient Linux user, network administration skills. Understanding of vulnerability principles: traffic interception, man-in-the-middle, authentication attacks. Nice to have: - Experience with SDR platforms (USRP, BladeRF). - Reverse engineering skills. - Understanding of cryptography used in networks.
