Cellular Network Security Programmer
We are looking for an expert in cellular network security protocols to research vulnerabilities in 2G/3G/4G/5G, analyze network equipment security, and develop exploitation tools. On-site position in St. Petersburg.
We are engaged in cutting-edge research in the field of telecommunications network security. We are looking for an expert who understands how cellular communication protocols work from the inside and knows how to find "white spots" in them. Tasks: - Research vulnerabilities in 2G/3G/4G/5G protocols. - Analysis of the security of base stations and core network equipment. - Development of tools for traffic analysis and vulnerability exploitation. - Reverse engineering of firmware for subscriber devices (modems).
Deep understanding of GSM/UMTS/LTE/5G architecture. Proficient in Python or C/C++. Experience with one of the tools: Wireshark (PCAP analysis), Osmocom, srsRAN, OpenAirInterface. Proficient Linux user, network administration skills. Understanding of vulnerability principles: traffic interception, man-in-the-middle, authentication attacks. Plus: - Experience with SDR platforms (USRP, BladeRF). - Reverse engineering skills. - Understanding of cryptography used in networks.
On-site work only in St. Petersburg. Travel and accommodation are paid.
