Blockchain Backend Developer (DEX)

Middle+/Senior Blockchain Backend Developer for a DEX project. Skills: Rust, Node.js, Python. Remote, full-time.

We are looking for a developer to join a team building a decentralized exchange (DEX). The work is at the intersection of smart contracts and backend: from on-chain logic in Rust to Node.js and Python services that support the exchange, process blockchain data, and work with user wallets. Responsibilities: - Development, testing, and deployment of smart contracts in Rust: swaps, liquidity pools, calculations, and fees - Development of backend services in Node.js (TypeScript) and Python: exchange API, transaction processing, integrations - Integration with crypto wallets: connection, transaction signing, work with RPC nodes - Indexing and processing on-chain events, data synchronization with the database - Accurate calculation of prices, fees, and balances (BigInt/decimal) - Ensuring security of contracts and services: tests, code review, audit preparation - Monitoring transactions and service operation, incident analysis - Participation in code review and architectural decisions

3+ years of commercial development, of which 1+ year in Web3/blockchain. Experience in writing and deploying smart contracts in Rust (Solana/Anchor, CosmWasm, NEAR, or similar). Strong Node.js (TypeScript) and Python on the backend. Understanding of DEX internals: AMM, liquidity pools, swaps, slippage, price oracles. Experience with crypto wallets: transaction signing, key management, wallet adapters. Knowledge of typical smart contract vulnerabilities (reentrancy, access controls, price manipulation). Nice to have: - Solidity and experience with EVM networks - Experience in passing smart contract audits - Experience in DeFi projects with real TVL - Cross-chain bridges - Experience in fintech or crypto exchanges (CEX) - Docker, CI/CD
