BI Developer / Data Engineer (project contract: 1C database assessment + Power BI reporting layer)

BI Developer / Data Engineer for a project contract: assess 1C databases and build a Power BI reporting layer. Remote, contractor from any city in Kazakhstan. First stage fixed price 300,000–700,000 KZT.

Project: a multidisciplinary group of companies in Western Kazakhstan (~25 legal entities) needs a contractor for a BI/Data Engineering project. Work is fully remote. Stage 1: technical assessment of 3 representative 1C databases (BK 3.0, typical with modifications, support maintained, all on one server): data map, analysis of extraction methods (OData / exports / direct connection), recommendation of a scalable approach, and a register of ambiguities. Stage 2 (based on results): pilot report on group money in Power BI — model, daily auto-update by morning, reconciliation with control data. Further stages: rollout to the remaining databases and new reporting loops.

Practical experience extracting data specifically from 1C (not only "connected a connector" — you know the mechanisms and their limitations). Power BI up to production: model, DAX, scheduled auto-refresh. SQL; Python is welcomed. Ability to work from written specifications and document decisions (specification, target report structure, and acceptance criteria are ready and provided as a package).

Project contract (civil-law contract / individual entrepreneur), fixed prices per stage, payment upon acceptance. Methodology and specification are on the customer side; an internal acceptance team exists. Two technical conditions: configurations must not be removed from support (modifications are done by customer specialists); materials are stored in the customer's repository.
