Backend QA Tech Lead

Backend QA Tech Lead at QIC / Qatar Insurance Company. Remote, full-time, Sunday–Thursday, long-term contract. Responsible for QA strategy and backend testing practices.

QIC (Qatar Insurance Company) is building an ecosystem of digital products for the Middle East, including insurance and everyday services: from buying a car to planning a trip. As Backend QA Tech Lead, you will be responsible for the QA strategy and development of testing practices for QIC backend systems, and work hands-on with the Core team.

Experience in automation with Java/Kotlin 5+ years in QA with primary focus on backend 2+ years as a technical leader with hands-on responsibility for quality of production backend services Experience with distributed microservice systems Practical experience with gRPC API and Kafka/event-driven systems English B2+
