Backend Developer position at Yandex Search team, focusing on real estate and financial products. Responsibilities include product development, data processing, infrastructure improvement, and AI integration. Requires experience with C++, Python, Go, Java, or Scala.

In the Yandex Search team, we help users choose the most profitable and suitable offers in the real estate and financial product sectors. You can compare offers and quickly arrange services or purchases without switching to third-party services. What tasks await you: • Product Development You will be involved in creating complex products – from developing financial recommendations and assistance in choosing online courses to creating innovative and promising products from scratch. • Working with Search Data and Infrastructure You will need to create and improve data processing processes on MapReduce, solve infrastructure tasks, train new ranking models, and eliminate problems with the quality of unstructured data. • Integrating AI into Search Products You will develop and launch experiments with neural network models to personalize recommendations, generate answers, and improve search relevance. Models will need to be scaled for millions of requests per day.

We expect you to: • Have worked as a backend developer • Have developed high-load and high-availability services • Have created large enterprise solutions • Know how to and love to write in C++, Python, Go, Java, or Scala It will be a plus if you: • Have turned product vision and tasks into ready-made technical solutions • Have developed search systems • Have worked with high-load databases – SQL, NoSQL • Are familiar with MapReduce, Redis, Kafka
