Automated Process Control System (APCS) Service Engineer

Service engineer for industrial automation systems, responsible for commissioning, configuration, and troubleshooting of APCS. Full-time, 5/2 schedule, official employment in IT company.

Responsibilities: · Performing supervisory installation and commissioning works of APCS software and hardware complexes at the Customer's site; · Loading, installing, configuring and checking system and application software of controllers and upper-level APCS equipment; · Configuring computer and server equipment, networks and network equipment, communication interfaces with lower-level control systems, information security policies; · Conducting functional checks of signals, control algorithms, protections, interlocks, alarm and visualization; · Troubleshooting of software and hardware complex and software within competence; · Analysis of identified remarks and correction of application software within competence; · Interaction with development engineers to resolve remarks and make changes to software; · Interaction with Customer representatives, contractors and related departments during installation and commissioning, participation in technical meetings with Customer; · Preparation of as-built documentation, test protocols, lists of remarks and reporting on completed works.

Requirements: · Higher technical education; · At least 2 years of experience in commissioning of APCS; · Experience in detecting and analyzing equipment faults and software errors; · Experience in adjusting application software and HMI algorithms, ability to modify algorithms and graphics on site; · Administration of operating systems (Linux preferred, but Windows acceptable); · Understanding of digital interfaces for integrations – Modbus TCP, Modbus RTU, OPC; · Skills in working with hardware (APCS cabinets, controllers, I/O modules, intrinsic safety barriers, terminal panels) – replacements; · Knowledge of instrumentation (pressure/level/temperature sensors, flow meters, control valves) to adjust device settings and calibrate if necessary; · Basic understanding of documentation, ability to make corrections independently or create requests for changes; · Experience with one or more modern APCS software and hardware complexes (Honeywell EPKS & SM, Emerson DeltaV, Siemens PCS7, PTK SURA, PTK TREI, etc.).
