Studio -.618 is hiring an Art Director to create visuals for a music festival show in China. Requires surreal/creepy visual thinking, AI animation expertise, and fluent English.

We are looking for an Art Director to create content: a show for an electronic music festival in China. We need someone with unconventional visual thinking; the artist uses strange, creepy, and unexpected imagery. Visuals must look good on camera, with the goal of people posting videos on Instagram. It's important to independently generate concepts. Production is mostly AI, so a vision for AI animation is required. Tasks: - Generating ideas - Art directing designers, motion designers, and AI creators - Interacting with the artist - Controlling implementation

Important: - Experience creating visuals for concerts, shows, and large stages - Portfolio with strange, surreal, creepy, or experimental work - Ability to independently generate unconventional and provocative visual ideas - Understanding of stage space, large screens, cranes, lighting, and performance dynamics - Proficient work with neural networks and AI tools - High speed of generating and implementing ideas Must have fluent English — there will be direct communication with the artist.
