Animatic Artist

Remote project-based role for an Animatic Artist at NHS Production, working on a 3D animated short film. Salary negotiable.

We are looking for a storyboard artist / animatic artist to create the animatic for our upcoming 3D animated short film. We seek a passionate creator who wants to collaborate and contribute creatively. Responsibilities include: - Visualizing the script by creating frame-by-frame storyboards - Creating animatics with timing that convey rhythm, tempo, and sequence - Collaborating with the director and producer - Developing shot composition, camera angles, rhythm, and transitions - Conveying emotional dynamics and character drama - Adhering to the visual style and tone - Preparing materials for 3D modeling and animation - Refining materials based on feedback

Portfolio with storyboard and/or concept art examples Good understanding of composition and film language Ability to quickly create sketches and work in a team Creativity and ability to integrate AI tools into the creative process High responsibility and meeting deadlines Proficiency in several programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Storyboard Pro (Toon Boom), TVPaint Animation, Clip Studio Paint, Procreate, Blender/SketchUp for previsualization and quick 3D references Mandatory: provide portfolio and one animatic example at the first selection stage
