Yandex Eats is looking for an Analyst-Developer to join their Growth and Pricing Platform Team. The role involves optimizing pricing algorithms, developing ML models, conducting experimental research, and identifying growth opportunities. Requires Python, SQL, and ML knowledge.

Our team invents, implements, and introduces technologies that impact the service's profitability, growth rate, and user and restaurant satisfaction – both in the domestic market and in international business. We have a lot of data, ML, Bayesian optimization, mathematics and statistics, Python, SQL, DL, tools and services based on LLM, as well as broad opportunities for creativity in areas that significantly impact the business. What tasks await you: • Optimization of pricing algorithms You will improve the efficiency of algorithms and analyze their impact on business metrics. • Development of ML models You will improve the quality and accuracy of models, test new machine and deep learning methods, and use and develop LLM-based tools for internal services and analytics. • Experimental research You will look for product growth points, formulate key metrics, design experiments, conduct them, and evaluate the results. • Growth points You will analyze data, find opportunities to improve the product, propose and test hypotheses, and implement changes that will bring additional profit to the business.

We expect you to: • Have experience in development or product analytics • Know the principles of machine learning • Work with data in Python • Test hypotheses using mathematical statistics • Enjoy working in a team, discussing ideas, and arguing your position It will be a plus if you: • Have conducted and analyzed A/B tests • Have worked with distributed computing systems, such as MapReduce • Are familiar with Bayesian optimization • Have built and developed performance metrics, as well as used DL models or LLM tools in production
