AI-native Developer

DreamVR seeks an AI-native engineer to independently turn product tasks into working systems, owning the full cycle from requirements to production.

Responsibilities: • Work from task to result: understand context, define readiness criteria, choose solution, implement, and verify after launch. • Independently specify requirements: translate product goals into requirements, constraints, architecture, and implementation plan. • Make engineering decisions: choose approaches, technologies, and architecture; justify key decisions and understand consequences. • Work with AI agents as primary development tool: decompose tasks, form context, set constraints, parallelize work, and verify results. • Understand the whole system: code, architecture, data, infrastructure, and integrations as deeply as needed. • Quickly master new areas: unfamiliar stacks or domains should not slow you down. • Spot improvement opportunities: find technical and product issues, assess significance, and drive useful changes to completion.

• Built real systems or products and can detail your role. • Able to lead a task from definition to production independently. • Skilled in system design and technical decision-making. • Regularly use AI agents in development. • Understand code and architecture created with AI. • Can verify agent outputs and find errors. • Quickly grasp unfamiliar code, technologies, and domains. • Strong engineering or mathematical foundation. Especially interesting: own projects, open-source, product or entrepreneurial experience, especially where you defined solutions and built systems. Experience creating personal AI development infrastructure is valued. This role may not fit if: you need a detailed technical plan, prefer working in one tech layer, use AI only for isolated questions or autocomplete, are not ready to own AI-proposed decisions, or prefer implementing pre-designed solutions.
