3D Character Artist needed for a competitive online shooter on Unreal Engine 5. Responsibilities include character modeling, texturing, and preparing models for animation. Requires 3+ years of experience and proficiency in ZBrush, Blender, Maya, and Substance Painter. Remote, full-time.
We are looking for a 3D Character Artist for a competitive online shooter on Unreal Engine 5. What you will do: • Model game characters (heroes, operatives) - from concept to game-ready mesh • High-poly → Low-poly → Bake → Texturing • Prepare models for rigging and animation (correct topology, edge flow) • Work with the art director on the project style
Requirements: • 3+ years of experience in game 3D • Proficient in ZBrush / Blender (sculpt) + Maya / Blender (retopo) • Substance Painter / Designer for textures (PBR) • Understanding of real-time requirements: polygon count, LODs, texture budgets • Portfolio with game characters Big plus: • Experience with UE5 (import, materials, Nanite/non-Nanite pipeline) • Released projects in portfolio • Experience with Marvelous Designer (clothing, equipment) • Basic rigging / skinning
