Lead Specialist of Internal Accounting (Securities Market)
Lead Specialist of Internal Accounting for the securities market in an investment company. Responsibilities include controlling the reflection of client operations, preparing reports, setting limits, controlling personal income tax (NDFL), and back-office operations. Requirements: higher education, at least 3 years of experience in internal accounting/back-office at a broker/professional securities market participant.
Control the correct and timely reflection of client operations in the company's internal accounting (securities, currency, derivatives market operations). Control the preparation and timely submission of client reports on securities, currency, and derivatives market operations. Formulate and provide trading limits. Prepare data for external reporting and interaction with related departments. Control the processes of accrual and withholding of personal income tax (NDFL) on client operations, transfer data to accounting. Control the reflection of the company's own operations in internal accounting (dealer operations, exchange intermediary activities). Reconcile client funds in internal accounting with balances in company accounts, including clearing organizations. Control the correctness and timeliness of back-office operations. Reconcile securities balances according to internal accounting and depository accounting data. Prepare, update, and improve internal regulations and internal accounting rules in accordance with the requirements of the Russian Federation legislation. Prepare and timely submit reports to the Bank of Russia and other regulatory bodies regarding internal accounting data. Participate in the automation of internal accounting processes, development of new solutions, and improvement of existing processes. Participate in the implementation of new accounting systems, testing of enhancements, and interaction with the project team. Participate in the optimization of back-office business processes and improvement of the department's efficiency.
Higher education (economics/finance/mathematics). Mandatory experience of at least 3 years in internal accounting/back-office/operational support at a broker/professional securities market participant/investment company/brokerage division of a bank. Good understanding of accounting processes for operations with securities, currency, derivatives market, and over-the-counter transactions. Understanding of back-office business processes and related areas (depository, middle-office, accounting will be an advantage). Practical experience in supporting client operations, conducting reconciliations for funds and securities, and preparing reports. Understanding of personal income tax (NDFL) calculation and support processes for client operations will be an advantage. Proficient user of Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Outlook, Word). Analytical thinking, attention to detail, responsibility, independence, initiative. Ability to effectively interact with related departments and clearly articulate thoughts. Additional advantages: Experience in projects for automation of internal accounting or back-office processes. Experience in testing enhancements, implementing new accounting systems, interacting with the IT team. Experience working with QORT system or similar internal accounting systems. Experience in developing internal regulations, methodology, and process optimization. Desire for professional development towards a management role.
Office-based work format (no hybrid or remote work). Working hours from 09:00 to 18:00 (or from 10:00 to 19:00). Modern office near Tretyakovskaya metro station. Voluntary medical insurance (DMS) after the probationary period.
