UX/UI AI Designer — Mobile Games / Part-time REMOTE
Part-time remote UX/UI designer for a midcore RPG mobile game. Develop existing UI system and build an AI-first pipeline for new screens. Long-term collaboration.
We are looking for a part-time UX/UI designer to work on a mobile game in the midcore RPG genre. The project already has a formed visual style, ready game screens, and UI Kit. The main task is to develop the existing UI system and build a process where a significant part of new screens will be assembled with AI. Responsibilities: — Design UX and UI for new game screens and features. — Work within the existing visual style, maintaining consistency. — Maintain and develop UI Kit: add new components and states as the project evolves. — Design interface structures for complex game systems: progression, characters, equipment, events, shops, Battle Pass, ratings, tournaments, etc. — Build an AI-first pipeline for UI creation: from task setting and screen structure generation to getting the most ready result in Figma. — Use AI not only for references or image generation but as a full-fledged working tool: agents, layout generation, design system work, automation of repetitive operations, variant generation, etc. — Improve the design system so AI can reliably assemble new interfaces from it. — Prepare layouts and components for handoff to development and interact with the Unity team.
— Experience working on RPG, Strategy, 4X, social casino, or other UI-heavy games. — Good understanding of mobile game UX: information hierarchy, navigation, element states, onboarding, progression UX. — Strong command of Figma, components, variants, variables, and design systems. — Ability to work with an existing style. — Understanding how to build a scalable UI Kit for a game with many screens. — Experience building AI processes around Figma. Experience with Figma API / MCP / AI agents. — Understanding UI DSL, structured UI descriptions, YAML/JSON interface schemas, or similar approaches. — Experience with automatic screen generation from a design system. — Understanding Unity UI and how designer components become real game interfaces. Main goal of the role: We want to gradually move to the process: Game Design → screen description → AI → ready screen structure from our UI Kit components → designer work with the result → final layout → Unity. We need a designer who will not only create good interfaces today but also help make production of new screens take significantly less manual time in a few months. When applying, please send: — examples of RPG / Strategy / other systemic games you have worked on. — a short description of how you currently use AI in UI/UX work. — also a PDF resume, a link to your general portfolio, and your hourly rate.
— Part-time. — Remote work. — Long-term collaboration. — Flexible schedule, results and speed of communication with the team are more important.
