UI/UX Designer (Game UI, MVP)
UI/UX Designer needed for a first-person 3D factory-builder game with automation elements. Focus on medieval era core gameplay loop. Project involves designing intuitive UI for building, resource management, and game modes.
We are developing a first-person 3D factory-builder game with automation elements, set in a medieval era. We are looking for a designer to focus on the core gameplay loop. The main task is to design a UI that allows players to focus on the game rather than menus, enabling quick access to building, understanding resource status, and avoiding confusion in different game modes. Responsibilities include designing the HUD, build/dismantle/interact interfaces, inventory, map, objectives, and notifications. The final deliverables should include wireframes, mockups, a UI kit, a clickable prototype, and specifications.
Experience working with game UI/HUD in survival, sandbox, simulation, or builder genres. Proficiency in functional UI design, not just visual aesthetics. Ability to implement a simple MVP without compromising future scalability. This role is open to Junior, Middle, Senior, and Senior+ level candidates.
Payment is negotiable, similar to a freelance project. We are looking for a great candidate with a relevant portfolio. (P.S. A template for the windows and overall look is available, though it is subject to discussion.)
