UI/UX + Animator + Motion Designer (Slots and Games)
UI/UX + Animator + Motion Designer for slots and games. Product: gaming platform with slots and games. Level: middle. Salary: negotiable. Remote, preference for full-time. Portfolio and motion works required.
Product: gaming platform with slots and games. Responsibilities: - Draw full slot games: symbols, reels, backgrounds, frames, game logo, game screen UI. - Maintain a unified visual style from concept to final assets. - Slice and package assets for the engine: spritesheets, atlases (TexturePacker), @1x/@2x, reasonable texture sizes. - Animation: idle loops of symbols, win animations, big win / mega win, scatter and wild reactions. - Spins, reel stops, screen transitions, bonus round animations. - Particles, glows, shakes, timings and easing. - Skeletal character animation (Spine / Rive), frame-by-frame where appropriate. - Promo and onboarding: character videos for social media and landing pages, including AI generation. - Work with frontend: export animations in correct formats, atlases, JSON skeletons, Lottie for PixiJS. - Understand performance budget: scene weight, texture memory, 60 fps on average mobile. - Communicate with development and managers: discuss tasks before drawing, sync during work, answer integration questions. - Interface and design system: design screens: scenarios → prototype → mockups. - Build scalable Figma files: components, auto layout, variables, states, adaptive, Dev Mode. - Develop design system for localization: multi-currency, different line lengths, date and number formats. - Think about product, not just follow specs: come with own solutions.
Portfolio with game graphics and animation — slots, casual games, any interactive projects. Production experience required; concepts without production do not show the main thing. Motion is mandatory: After Effects, Spine and/or Rive; AI video generation (Runway, Kling, Sora — whatever you actually use). Figma at the level of assembling files that do not fall apart in the third sprint. Understanding of frontend capabilities and limitations, ideally PixiJS: what renders cheaply and what kills performance. Understanding that in the fintech part the interface is responsible for trust: how to show commission, payment status, error so the user does not get nervous. Ability to explain decisions and agree with the team, not go into silent drawing. Willingness to work in a common rhythm: calls, statuses, deadlines. Nice to have: - Experience in iGaming, slots, game dev. - English B1. - Understanding what is expensive in frontend and what is not.
