UI/UX + Animator + Motion Designer (slots and games)

Seeking a designer who can handle both graphics and motion for a gaming platform with slots and games. Must create game graphics, animations, and UI design.

Product: gaming platform with slots and games. What to do: Game graphics — the core of the work: - Draw entire slots: symbols, reels, backgrounds, frames, game logos, UI of the game screen - Maintain a unified visual style of the game from concept to final assets - Slice and package assets for the engine: spritesheets, atlases (TexturePacker), @1x/@2x, reasonable texture sizes Animation — the second half of the work, not a 'bonus': - Idle loops of symbols, win animations, big win / mega win, reactions to scatters and wilds - Spins, reel stops, animations of transitions between screens and bonus rounds - Particles, glows, shaking, timings and easing — what makes a game feel 'expensive' or cheap - Skeletal character animation (Spine / Rive), frame-by-frame — where it is more appropriate - Promo and onboarding: videos with characters for social media and landings, including with AI generation Working with frontend: - Deliver animations so that the developer takes them without questions: correct export formats, atlases, JSON skeletons, Lottie — for what PixiJS actually consumes - Understand the budget: how much a scene weighs, how many textures in memory, what will hit 60 fps on an average mobile - Be in touch with development and managers: discuss the task before it is drawn, check in along the way, answer questions during integration Interface and design system: - Design screens: scenarios → prototype → mockups - Assemble a Figma file at a 'scalable' level: components, auto layout, variables, states, adaptive, Dev Mode - Develop a design system with localization in mind: multi-currency, different string lengths, other date and number formats - Think about the product, not just draw according to specs: come with your own solutions

Expected: - Portfolio with game graphics and animation — slots, casual games, any interactive projects. Concepts without production do not show the main thing - Motion is mandatory: After Effects, Spine and/or Rive; AI video generation (Runway, Kling, Sora — whatever you actually use) - Figma at the level of assembling files that do not fall apart on the third sprint - Understanding of frontend capabilities and limitations, ideally — specifically PixiJS: what renders cheaply and what will kill performance - Understanding that in the fintech part the interface is responsible for trust: how to show commission, payment status, error so that a person does not get nervous - Ability to explain your decisions and agree with the team, not go into silent drawing - Willingness to work in a common rhythm: calls, statuses, deadlines Plus: - Experience in iGaming, slots, game dev - English at B1 level - Understanding of what is expensive in frontend and what is not
