Trader

Trader at a European-licensed investment firm (CySEC) in Limassol. Office-based role focused on portfolio management and traditional brokerage to professional clients.

Execution of clients’ orders in multiple asset classes: derivatives, listed options, equities (US and EU shares, ETFs), fixed income, FX, money market instruments, repo. Day-to-day monitoring of trading platforms and clients’ exposures/accounts. Liaising with Middle and Back-Office on pre-trade and post-trade activities. Applying operational procedures and ensuring compliance with internal processes and controls. Responding to client queries and ad hoc requests. Preparing internal and external reports for senior management. Developing and improving trading infrastructure and counterparty/broker relationships. Enhancing internal procedures and processes.

University degree in Finance, Economics or another relevant field. 3–5 years of relevant experience in a similar role at a financial institution. Good knowledge and experience with trading platforms such as CQG and Bloomberg; other platforms are a plus. Fluency in English and Russian (verbal and written).
