Testing Engineer (NGFW)

Testing Engineer for NGFW product at Kaspersky. Manual testing of virtual and hardware platforms, integrations, and test environments.

We are a testing team for the NGFW (Next Generation Firewall) product. Our product is designed to seamlessly integrate into network infrastructure and provide reliable protection in data networks. Our tasks include manual testing of virtual and hardware platforms, testing integrations with external products, and developing the test environment. Responsibilities: - Preparing test scenarios and composing test reports - Setting up test benches and test environments - Testing the software product according to requirements and test scenarios - Reproducing issues and registering detected defects - Checking user documentation

Knowledge and understanding of data network organization principles; diagnosing network issues; confident Linux OS user skills; technical English (searching for information, reading documentation). Advantage: Experience as a network engineer or NGFW administrator, and other network security and monitoring tools; experience with traffic generators.
