Testing Engineer (NGFW)

Testing Engineer for NGFW product team at Kaspersky. Manual testing of virtual and hardware platforms, integrations, and test environment development.

We are the NGFW (Next Generation Firewall) product testing team. Our product is designed to seamlessly integrate into network infrastructure and provide reliable protection in data transmission networks. Our tasks include manual testing of virtual and hardware platforms, testing integrations with external products, and developing the test environment. Responsibilities: - Preparing test scenarios and compiling test reports - Preparing test benches and configuring the test environment - Testing the software product according to requirements and test scenarios - Reproducing issues and registering detected defects - Checking user documentation

- Knowledge and understanding of data transmission network organization principles; network problem diagnostics - Knowledge and experience with dynamic routing protocols: OSPF, BGP - Linux OS knowledge at a confident user level - Technical English (searching for information, reading documentation) Nice to have: - Experience as a network engineer or NGFW and other network security and monitoring tools administrator - Experience with traffic generators
