Tester (mobile application)

QA engineer for manual testing of mobile application (iOS/Android) and backend APIs in e-commerce/foodtech. 2+ years mobile testing, 1+ year API testing. Hybrid work, office at Paveletskaya metro.

Responsibilities: Functional testing of mobile application: verification of key user scenarios: product selection, cart operations, order placement (pickup, delivery), payment, promo codes and loyalty program; testing integration with internal services (menu, prices, payment, loyalty, etc.); testing on various devices (iOS/Android); testing interaction with hardware components (geolocation, Touch ID/Face ID). Integration and API testing of backend: verification of mobile app interaction with microservice backend architecture (order, payment, menu, loyalty services); testing REST API using Postman/Charles/analogues; validating API responses, status codes, data formats (JSON); testing resilience to erroneous and boundary data. Regression testing: checking stability of app and backend after updates; analyzing impact of changes in one microservice on other modules and client app; maintaining and updating regression test suite. Beta testing: verification of key user scenarios in production environment. Documentation and reporting: maintaining bug reports in Yandex Tracker with clear steps, environment, logs, expected/actual results; interacting with mobile and backend developers to clarify and reproduce errors; developing and maintaining test cases, checklists, and test scenarios in TestIT; creating instructions and testing methodologies for new features.

Completed higher technical education; Experience in manual testing of mobile applications (iOS/Android) from 2 years; Experience in e-commerce, retail or foodtech is desirable; Experience in testing backend services and API (REST API) from 1 year; Understanding of testing principles, types, levels, methods; Ability to work with API testing tools (Postman, Insomnia, Charles/Fiddler for tracing); Experience with bug tracking systems (Yandex Tracker, Jira) and test management (TestIT, TestRail); Ability to compose clear and reproducible checklists and test cases; Basic knowledge of working with databases (ability to write simple SQL queries for data validation); Understanding of client-server architecture and HTTP/HTTPS basics.
