Telecom Test Engineer (Hardware and Software)

Telecom Test Engineer at YADRO, 200,000 RUB, developing base stations for GSM/LTE. Involves testing RAN, Core, NMS, and creating test strategies.

Work with RAN (LTE, GSM), Core, and NMS elements of mobile network. Analyze requirements and technical solutions from a testing perspective. Prepare test strategy, develop test plans for new functionality. Test system, including under load, using automated and manual tests. Set up logging and monitoring systems. Analyze test results and create bug reports.

Mandatory: - Telecom experience 3+ years, working with base stations. - Knowledge of TCP/IP networks. - Advanced Unix/Linux command line usage 1+ year. - Ability to write and read code in any language (preferably Python). - Understanding of software development process. - Experience in testing software and hardware. - English: reading technical documentation without a dictionary. Nice to have: - Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Shell, Perl, LUA, etc.). - Experience with hardware (loading, debugging, testing software on real equipment, configuration). - Load testing experience. - Experience with version control (Git, BitBucket) and bug tracking (JIRA). - Experience with monitoring and data storage systems (Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana, Zabbix, Elasticsearch). - Experience with virtualization and containerization systems.
