System/Business Analyst

System/Business Analyst for Supply Chain automation projects, remote. Focus on formalizing business logic and algorithms for procurement and distribution.

What you will do: - Formalization of business logic and algorithms: Develop a detailed mathematical model and algorithm for calculating purchase volumes and product distribution, considering: - Lead Time and its deviations (Supplier Delay Risk). - Dynamic safety stock and reorder point. - Demand forecast, seasonality, promo activities, and supply quantities (MOQ/MPQ). - Current stock (On-Hand) and goods in transit (On-Order / In-Transit). - System analysis and design: - Collect, analyze, and consolidate business requirements (BRD) from purchasing and logistics departments. - Create technical specifications (TOR / BRD / FSD) for the development team. - Design integration logic between ERP, WMS, CRM, and planning modules (API, data structures, exception handling scenarios). - Prototyping and testing: - Create calculation model prototypes (in Excel / Python / R) to validate hypotheses and review results with business stakeholders. - Participate in UAT (user acceptance testing) and verify algorithm correctness in target systems.

Our expectations: - 2+ years as a Business/System Analyst in procurement automation, WMS/ERP, or Supply Chain in large retail, e-Commerce, or FMCG companies. - In-depth understanding of procurement logistics, inventory management methods, and optimization models. - Strong mathematical/analytical background: ability to translate complex business problems (delays, out-of-stock risks) into formalized algorithms and formulas; experience with probability distributions and safety stocks. - Technical skills: writing TOR / User Stories / Use Cases / REST API specifications; process modeling (BPMN 2.0, UML); strong SQL and Excel (complex mathematical models). Nice to have: - Knowledge of Python/R for rapid prototyping of calculation models. - Experience with advanced planning systems (Demand & Supply Planning / IBP).
