We are building an AI platform for mental health in the US: licensed doctors + proprietary AI tools that take over the routine (charting, follow-ups, treatment plans), so that doctors focus on patients instead of paperwork. We are looking for a Staff DevOps engineer who decides for themselves where to move the infrastructure. What you will own: - Vision and quarterly infrastructure roadmap, proactively, with trade-offs and metrics - AWS + Kubernetes (EKS): Karpenter, Kyverno, zero-downtime - IaC end-to-end: Terraform, AWS CDK (TS) + GitLab CI (self-managed) - Observability that is actually used: Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry - Blue-green deployments, health-gated rollback, zero-downtime PostgreSQL migrations - Security in a HIPAA environment: secrets, Vault as code - Agentic AI (Claude Code and similar) as part of daily work, not "just to look at" Stack: AWS · EKS · Terraform · AWS CDK (TS) · GitLab CI · Prometheus / Grafana / OTel · Vault · PostgreSQL · Node.js / TS
