Spine Animator

Cipher Studios is looking for a Middle/Senior Spine Animator for remote full-time work creating 2D animations for online games.

Responsibilities: - Creating high-quality 2D animations and effects for online games - Animating game and game-related graphic assets - Assisting designers and artists in developing prototypes - Following the graphic style, theme, and other visual requirements set by the game design team - Participating in team art discussions, work reviews, and critiques - Applying technical knowledge and expertise to optimize games and ensure maximum performance

Requirements: - Ability to animate characters, environments, and FX in various styles according to game design requirements - Strong knowledge of Spine 2D (Esoteric Software) - Ability to understand and follow game design briefs and documentation - 2-3 years of experience as an animator or in a related field (salary depends on relevant experience) - Deep understanding of core animation principles - Experience with Adobe After Effects and particle systems such as Trapcode Particular - Knowledge of computer 2D animation and VFX techniques - Knowledge of relevant Adobe Creative Suite programs, including Photoshop and After Effects - Creativity and teamwork skills - Ability to estimate own tasks during planning - Positive attitude, teamwork, giving and receiving objective feedback - Self-discipline and responsibility for own work when performing tasks independently - Orientation towards continuous development and professional growth - English at B1 level or higher, both spoken and written Nice to have: - Experience with video slots / slot games - Previous experience in game development - Knowledge of Technical Art: image sequence optimization, asset export, sprite sheets - Experience working with other specialists' source files and following naming conventions - Experience in Agile development environment - Experience with project management tools such as YouTrack, Confluence, and Jira
