SOC Analyst

SOC Analyst position at DatsTeam. Remote. Requires 3+ years of experience. Salary discussed at interview.

• Monitoring security events through SIEM. • Identifying and analyzing suspicious activity in networks, systems, and applications. • Classifying and prioritizing incidents, preparing reports for management. • Responding to incidents: blocking threats, interacting with engineers for remediation. • Supporting and configuring correlation rules in SIEM to improve detection accuracy. • Maintaining documentation and tracking incidents in an incident management system. • Participating in testing and implementation of security tools, monitoring, and improvement of SOC processes.

• Practical experience with SIEM, EDR, network and system logs. • Knowledge of core network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP/S, DNS, LDAP, SMB, etc.). • Understanding of attack vectors (Malware, Phishing, APT, DDoS, Insider Threats, Web-Attacks) — required. • Ability to work with Windows, Linux, macOS, and cloud platforms. • Skills in incident investigation, log analysis, and event correlation. • English — technical reading and understanding of documentation.
