Senior ML Engineer

Selecty is hiring a Senior ML Engineer for a major online cinema. Develop recommendation systems, research new algorithms, and build production-ready solutions. Remote or hybrid in Moscow.

Develop and maintain implemented recommendation solutions. Search for new hypotheses to improve model training pipelines and add new features. Solve R&D tasks for researching new algorithms based on neural networks. Solve tasks arising during product development. Prototype new approaches on a dev server with GPU. Evaluate quality metrics of new prototypes. Create production-ready solutions based on prototypes and launch them for A/B testing.

Experience from 3 years as SWE / DS / MLE. Experience in recommendations, search, personalization, or matching domain. Knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and applied statistics. Independence in solving tasks and controlling results. Experience in team development. Proficient in Python 3, SQL, Git, Bash, Docker, Spark. Knowledge of main libraries: PySpark, NumPy, Pandas, SciPy, scikit-learn. Experience with databases and storages: ClickHouse, Redis, S3, PostgreSQL. Preferably experience with RePlay / RecTools / RecBole, PyTorch Lightning, Triton Inference Server. Preferably experience with OpenCode, Claude Code, Cursor or similar tools.
