Senior ML Engineer

IT company Selecty is looking for a Senior ML Engineer for a major online cinema: develop recommendation systems, improve ML pipelines, prototype new approaches, and bring solutions to production.

Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain implemented recommendation solutions - Search for new hypotheses to improve model training pipelines and add new features - Solve R&D tasks related to exploring new algorithms based on neural networks - Solve problems arising during product development - Prototype new approaches on a dev server with GPU - Evaluate quality metrics of new prototypes - Create production-ready solutions based on prototypes and run A/B testing

Expected: - 3+ years of experience as SWE / DS / MLE - Experience in recommendations, search, personalization, or matching domain - Knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and applied statistics - Independence in problem-solving and result control - Experience in team development - Proficient in Python 3, SQL, Git, Bash, Docker, Spark - Knowledge of key libraries: PySpark, NumPy, Pandas, SciPy, scikit-learn - Experience with databases and storages: ClickHouse, Redis, S3, PostgreSQL - Nice to have: experience with RePlay / RecTools / RecBole, PyTorch Lightning, Triton Inference Server - Nice to have: experience with OpenCode, Claude Code, Cursor or similar tools
