We’re looking for a hands-on Go Backend Engineer to build and evolve high-performance backend services and distributed systems. You’ll work on real production systems — designing microservices, building APIs, working with PostgreSQL, integrating external services and improving reliability, performance and observability. What you’ll do - Build and maintain backend services in Go - Design and evolve microservices & distributed systems - Work with PostgreSQL & SQL - Build REST & gRPC APIs - Integrate third-party services and data providers - Write unit & integration tests - Troubleshoot complex production issues - Review code and contribute to architectural decisions - Improve performance, maintainability and observability

5+ years of professional Go experience Strong understanding of Go, concurrency and software design Solid experience with microservices and distributed systems Strong SQL/PostgreSQL skills Hands-on experience with REST & gRPC Experience with Docker and Git Experience with unit and integration testing Strong problem-solving and communication skills Nice to have: Kubernetes, event-driven architecture, observability, performance optimisation and experience with high-load systems.
