Senior DevOps

Senior DevOps at a fast-growing service with hundreds of thousands of users. Remote, full-time 5/2. Salary 300,000–600,000 RUB. Work on Linux infrastructure, networking, Go/Python, CDN, DNS, Docker, Prometheus/Grafana.

Fast-growing service with an audience of several hundred thousand users is actively scaling and looking for a strong DevOps/SRE to develop the project. Responsibilities: - Administer and develop Linux infrastructure; - Set up and optimize the network stack; - Write production code in Go and Python; - Work with network protocols, maintain and develop distributed traffic delivery and routing infrastructure.

Expected: - Confident administration of Ubuntu; - Experience with systemd (units, dependencies, hot-reload of services), netplan, journald, logrotate; - Setting up and optimizing the Linux network stack via sysctl (buffers, conntrack, NIC queues), configuring IPv4/IPv6, swap; - Experience writing idempotent Bash scripts; - Confident work over SSH with many servers; - Experience implementing secure deployments and green-blue updates; - Deep understanding of TCP/UDP, TLS (SNI, ALPN, packet-level handshake), HTTP/1.1–HTTP/2, WebSocket; - Expert knowledge of DNS; - Experience building DNS Load Balancing; - Experience with CDN, nginx Reverse Proxy, TLS termination, WebSocket proxying, fallback pages, and health-check; - Confident experience developing in Go (concurrency, testing, working with the network stack); - Experience developing in Python (FastAPI; layered architecture); - Confident technical stack (SQLAlchemy, Alembic, pytest (unit and e2e, generating configurations from YAML declarations); - Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Docker, Docker Compose; - Skills in diagnosing production incidents using tcpdump, dig, ss, iproute2; - Daily use of AI tools in development, automation, and engineering tasks.
