Senior DevOps Engineer

TrafficStars is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer in Limassol, Cyprus. Salary: €5000-7000 net + bonuses. High-load ad network, 1M+ requests/sec, ClickHouse 3.6 PB cluster. Full-time office. Relocation support for family.

TrafficStars is an ad network registering over 7 billion events per day in a ClickHouse cluster of 3.6 PB, with over 500 servers in data centers across Europe and the US. Peak load exceeds 1 million requests per second. You will work within a product development team, responsible for its delivery from commit to production and observability. Database and storage clusters are managed by the infrastructure team, with whom you will work closely. Responsibilities: • Close interaction and support of the product development team: participation in planning, direct work with developers. • Creation and maintenance of helm-charts, kustomize, and GitLab CI/CD pipelines. • Creation and operation of various environments from testing to production. • Setting up monitoring, alerting, and logging for team services. • Ensuring stable operation of services in close cooperation with the infrastructure team. • Identifying potential problems and participating in creating solutions to eliminate them. • Searching, testing, and implementing new solutions to optimize current processes and improve service quality.

Expected: • Confident understanding of k8s principles. • Confident Linux. • Git, GitLab, GitLab CI. • Prometheus stack. • ELK/EFK. • Experience with message brokers (Kafka). • Knowledge of any scripting language. • Experience working side by side with developers, not through a ticket queue. • Willingness to quickly dive into unfamiliar services and technologies. Nice to have: • Experience with ClickHouse, PostgreSQL, Redis, Aerospike at the level of a confident user, not a cluster operator. • Experience in a product or platform team on a high-load project.
