Senior DevOps Engineer

TrafficStars is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer in Limassol, Cyprus. High-load ad network handling 1M requests/sec, 500+ servers. Salary 5000-7000 EUR net plus bonuses, office full-time with relocation.

TrafficStars is an advertising network that registers over 7 billion events per day in a ClickHouse cluster of 3.6 petabytes, with 500+ servers located in data centers across Europe and the US. Our network receives and processes over 1 million requests per second during peak hours. This is a great opportunity to apply your experience and knowledge in a unique high-load project, in a team of excellent specialists.Due to the growth of the IT department, we are opening a position for a Senior DevOps Engineer. The vacancy implies relocation with the whole family to Cyprus, Limassol, and full official employment.About the role:You work within a single product development team and are responsible for its delivery: from commit to production and observability of the team's services. Database and storage clusters remain with the infrastructure team, with whom you work in tandem.Responsibilities:• Close interaction and support of the product development team: participation in planning, working with developers directly;• Creation and maintenance of helm-charts, kustomize and GitLab CI/CD pipelines;• Creation and operation of various environments from testing to production;• Setting up monitoring, alerting and logging for the team's services;• Ensuring stable operation of services in close cooperation with the infrastructure team;• Detecting potential problems and participating in creating solutions to eliminate them;• Searching, testing and implementing new solutions that help optimize current processes and improve the quality of services provided.

• Confident understanding of k8s principles;• Confident Linux;• Git, GitLab, GitLab CI;• Prometheus stack;• ELK/EFK;• Experience with message brokers (Kafka);• Knowledge of any scripting programming language;• Experience working side by side with developers, not through a ticket queue;• Willingness to quickly dive into unfamiliar services and technologies.Nice to have:• Experience with ClickHouse, PostgreSQL, Redis, Aerospike — at the level of a confident user, not a cluster operator;• Experience in a product or platform team on a high-load project.
