Senior DevOps Engineer

International product IT company seeks Senior DevOps Engineer for high-load online entertainment services. CI/CD, observability, platform automation, internal tools. Office in Cyprus, full-time, relocation support.

International product IT company developing and supporting high-load projects for large companies, mostly online entertainment services. Responsibilities: - Develop CI/CD pipelines for various, including complex, services and applications. - Set up observability for applications (monitoring, logging, tracing, alerting). - Prepare applications for high-load operation. - Develop platform solutions: templating and automating technical solutions for development and testing teams. - Create and maintain internal tools (services, bots). - Describe, update, and develop technical documentation and processes.

High-load experience from 2 years. Knowledge of client-server application principles and horizontal scaling. Experience building CI/CD processes, preferably with GitLab CI. Experience building application images based on Docker (familiarity with buildx engine is a plus). Confident skills with Docker, Git, and network protocols (HTTP, TLS, S3). Understanding of IaC approach. Experience with Kubernetes for deployment and operation of high-load applications. Experience with various monitoring and log collection tools. Experience in task decomposition and estimation. Developed soft skills. Higher technical education. English level at least: read English documentation, ask a question/comment, or create a GitHub issue. Nice to have: - Knowledge of application design patterns. - Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases. - Python/Go at simple automation development level. - Experience with incident management and working in ITSM paradigm.
