Ptolemay is a full-cycle IT outsourcing company specializing in mobile and web application development for businesses and startups. We are seeking a Senior DevOps AWS Engineer to join an outstaff project for an Australian client in the healthcare sector. The project involves migrating infrastructure from on-premises or self-managed cloud solutions to AWS. Responsibilities: • Leading infrastructure migration from on-premises to AWS • Analyzing current systems and developing a migration and modernization strategy • Designing and managing Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) • Developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines • Managing containerized applications (ECS, Fargate) • Implementing monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions • Ensuring security and compliance with standards • Automating operational processes and reducing manual operations • Collaborating with development teams and implementing DevOps practices

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or platform engineering • Proven experience migrating on-premises workloads to the cloud • Deep practical expertise with AWS • Strong experience with Azure in the context of migrations • Practical experience using Terraform at a production level (at scale) • Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Azure Pipelines) • Experience with container orchestration (ECS, Fargate) • Solid scripting skills in Python or Bash • Security-first approach when working with cloud infrastructure English: Upper-Intermediate (B2)
